Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched free 3 marla plot scheme for poor families
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced an important initiative aimed at providing free three marla plots to the deserving and disadvantaged people. The scheme is a part of the Muskan Ravi ‘Zahra Homes’ project, which was inaugurated by the Chief Minister in Kala Shah Kaku, as reported by Express News.
Muskan Ravi ‘Zahra Homes’ initiative
During the launching ceremony, Maryam Nawaz personally visited the Muskan Ravi site and carefully inspected the newly constructed houses. He handed over allotment letters and keys to 100 families while expressing satisfaction over the quality and facilities provided in Muskan Ravi ‘Zahra Homes’.
Key Features of Zahra Homes
Each house at Zahra Homes is 400 square feet and includes two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a courtyard. Built using TREND EPS smart panel technology, these homes are designed to be earthquake resistant, energy efficient and environmentally sustainable. Additionally, a 5 kW solar system powers every home, ensuring energy sustainability.
Community amenities
Maskan Ravi Housing Scheme is not just about housing. It aims to create a complete community. The plan includes essential amenities like:
- RO plant for supply of purified water
- A school for educational needs
- Playground for children
- Mosque for spiritual activities
- A dispensary for primary health care
Cooperation and future plans
Maskan Ravi Housing Scheme is a joint venture between the two. Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and EPS Solutions Pakistan. During the ceremony, a documentary film based on the services and projects of the President of Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif was also presented.
Expansion of housing initiatives
In addition to the Zahra Homes project, the Punjab government has approved 62 billion rupees.‘Your Holiday Your Home’ The program aims to provide loans to 40,000 people by May, with 5,000 residents already benefiting from the program. More than 4,200 houses are nearing completion under this scheme.
The Chief Minister has directed the authorities to speed up the loan disbursement process and consider increasing the loan amount from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
To promote the sectors of Punjab
In a separate review meeting presided over by Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, the progress in agriculture, energy and industry sectors was discussed. To further boost agricultural development, the Chief Minister has ordered additional resources to speed up distribution of tractors and farming implements. An additional 2,000 Super Seeders will be provided to farmers at subsidized rates till February 28.
